operating system error?

hello again,
i sent a post to a list, blooming, i think is configured correctly.
but in my syslog i got this message 3 times:

<date time etc> tigger sendmail [4502] to:"|/usr/local/lib/majordomo/wrapper -l blooming -h tigger.oslc.org 
-s blooming-outgoing", delay=22:15:13, stat=Operating system error

what the heck is that all about? is there something i should check in
either majordomo or aliases?
