Private lists

I wish to create a private list. I know what "noadvertise" and "advertise"
do but the following line in my test.config file has no effect

noadvertise /.*/ << END

whats' wrong?

Yes, I am new to majordomo 1.94.3 (running on a linux 2.0.28 box)
