Has anyone gotten this kind of an error message before?

This is what I get when I try to run "echo 'lists' | mail majordomo"
I am pretty sure that I have followed the installation instructions
correctly and according to the FAQ this is a sendmail problem. But
when checking through errno.h it is the error
#define ECHILD 10 /* No children */
This is on a Solaris 2.5.1 system running Sendmail-8.8.3.
Any suggestions?
