It depends on how reliable and fast is your network connection and how much
of a load your Majordomo server is under.

In the long run... if you use bulk_mailer -- which you should on a list
that size -- not significantly. But with a list that size even a few
seconds per address can add up to a lot.
Personally, I would use nothing but sendmail for the MTA. I know it works
and I know it works realiably even in a worst case faiure scenario.
