Well, once Majordomo passes the outbound message to sendmail, it has
nothing more to do with it.  Unless you have more than one log entry that
shows Majordomo injecting the message into the spool, it can't be a
Majordomo problem.

However, if you want to validate a list of addresses, you might check out
ftp://ftp.hpc.uh.edu:/pub/majordomo/validate_addresses.  It's some code
that I used to prototype the address validator in Majordomo 2 (yes, not yet
released, standard "talk it about it majordomo-workers" message, etc).
Call it with the name of a file containing addresses and it will syntax
check them and extract the addresses and comments from them.  It doesn't
catch every possible mishap, but it is less tolerant than sendmail and so
anything it lets by shouldn't bug sendmail.  It also gives syntax errors in
English (which is why I wrote it in the first place).
