See my previous comments about the neon mailing list and the (hypothetical)
neon mailing list, both using "neon" as a Subject tag. There are lists out
there, real lists, that use Subject tags, and this causes problems because
the tags overlap each other, causing exactly the kind of confusion and
annoyances they supposedly exist to prevent.

Tell me it is not annoying -- or worse -- when your list mail winds up in
the wrong folder.

I subscribe to more mailing lists than I care to count. I receive some 300
to 500 pieces of mail a day. I filter all of them using Sender and
sometimes To/Cc headers. I rarely have misfiled messages, and never to the
wrong list folder. None of them use Subject tags. There is no magic
involved, I just followed the directions for the mail package and looked
for unique header strings.
