I have tried several things in trying to get this archive directory
working. Nothing has worked. Is there anyone out there who has an archive
directory working and will not mind helping me? Here are all of the
specifics. If there is any more info needed please let me know.
I am running SunOS 5.3, Perl 5, and Mj 1.94.3.
First of all, my archive2.pl file is in this directory:
/export/home/majordomo/archive2.pl
My list name is central (this is a file). It is located in this directory:
/export/home/majordomo/lists/central
My archive directory is located in the same directory as my list, and it is
called central.archive. Inside my archive directory I have an empty file
called central. My majordomo.aliases file is in this directory:
/export/home/majordomo/majordomo.aliases.
This is from my majordomo.alias file:
central: "|/export/home/majordomo/wrapper resend central -h
beagle.ceri.memphis.edu central-outgoing"
central-outgoing: :include:/export/home/majordomo/lists/central,
"|/export/home/majordomo/wrapper archive2.pl -f
/export/home/majordomo/lists/central.archive/central -d -m -a"
central-request: "/export/home/majordomo/wrapper request-answer central"
This is from my majordomo.cf file:
$filedir = "/export/home/majordomo/lists";
$filedir_suffix = ".archive";
@archive_dirs = ("$filedir/central$filedir_suffiix");
I think those are the only two files that I had to edit involving archive.
