Hello everyone, I'm a newbie at majordomo and I need some help. I have
just created a list called 'sample' and have followed instructions from
the readme/newlist/faq verbatim. But for some strange reason I can't send
anything directly to the list. Below is a copy of the error message I get
and what my mail aliase file looks like:

The original message was received at Wed, 9 Jul 1997 16:02:07 -0700
from miken@localhost

----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
<sample@soclab10.ucr.edu>
:include:/usr/local/majordomo-1.94.3/lists/sample
    (expanded from: <sample@soclab10.ucr.edu>)

----- Transcript of session follows -----

/usr/local/majordomo-1.94.3/lists/sample: Permission denied
Message delivered to mailing list <sample@soclab10.ucr.edu>
554 <sample@soclab10.ucr.edu>... aliasing/forwarding loop broken

I am trying to mail a message to "sample@soclab10.ucr.edu" and this is
what my aliase file looks like (my 'sample' list permissions are 664):

sample: :include:/usr/local/majordomo-1.94.3/lists/sample
owner-sample: miken,
sample-request: "|/usr/local/majordomo-1.94.3/wrapper majordomo -l
sample"
sample-approval: miken

Can someone tell me what is going on? What am I doing wrong?

Mike
