I have receintly installed Majordomo, trying to get it to serve as an internal alias add/remover for users. Everything seems to check out ok, however when I've sent 'lists' requests to it, it complains about my domain:
---------------

MAJORDOMO ABORT (mj_majordomo)!!

majordomo@server1: sricci@server1 (Steve Ricci) is not a valid return address.

---------------
I believe this happens because the From: header contains no domain name, and includes a (Real Name). I use generic Mailtool under Solaris, but I've seen other mailers around here with the same format.
I've hacked away at sendmail.cf, and majordomo.cf a while, but I'm not really a Perl expert. So, I thought I'd drop a message to see if anyone had a solution to adding the domain to the alias, and dropping the (Real Name). I'm running this under Solaris 2.4, with sendmail 8.6.
Since I haven't received a response to know if I'm added to this list or not, if you can help, please cc: my e-mail. I appreciate any help.
