What extraneous headers do you refer to?  You can approve very easily
in Eudora -- at least, I can.  Select the entire message (headers and
all) and copy it to the clipboard; paste into a new message to the
list, and insert a line at the top of the message in this format:

Approved: password

You did look at the examples in the documentation, didn't you???
