Im running majordomo 1.94.1 on a sun/solaris2.5.1 box.
I attempted to run "who" on a list called test.
The list called test is a closed list and contains the members:
colin.forde@queens-belfast.ac.uk
majordom@news.qub.ac.uk
Ive got test.closed in the lists directory and test.config has who and which accesses set to list.
The problem
When i send a who or which request im told im not on the list i earlier subscribed to (all subscription
work went through normally and i was put on the list)
The message received from who was
>>>> who test
**** List 'test' is a private list.
**** Only members of the list can do a 'who'.
**** You [ Colin.Forde@Queens-Belfast.AC.UK ] aren't a member of list 'test'.
I tried to subscribe to the list again and owner got:
>>>> approve test subscribe test Colin.Forde@Queens-Belfast.AC.UK
**** Address already subscribed to test
I would much appreciate it if u could shed light on whats going wrong
