Is topics.java.security.info a mailing list or an "info" file for the
topics.java.security list? Majordomo uses periods to indicate special
files. If you alter that meaning, you break a lot of things.

Looks to me like you are trying to gateway newsgroups to mailing lists. If
so, then you should use 'topics-java-security' and your gateway mechanism
should do the translation of '.' to '-' rather than hack Majordomo to
behave differently.
