Changing a list name and aliases

I have a list that has outgrown it's original focus. I plan to change the
name of the list (in this case from epson800 to epsoninkjet). Before I do
this, any advice from the group?

Here is my plan:

1. Kill sendmail
2. Edit the alias file, change each instance of epson800 to epsoninkjet
3. Change the /path/to/majordomo/listname to the new list name.
4. Change info and config names
5. Edit config, change epson800 to epsoninkjet
6. Edit info to reflect new information
7. Change the archive path and file names
8. newaliases
9. Restart sendmail and test.

Anything else? Where does 'lists' get it's list from? Do I need to edit
any other files?

Of course, I'll make backups of all files before I begin.
