First, I really appreciate the people on this list. I am a one man
operation and rely heavily on excellent lists such as majordomo-users
(and the bat book).

After the melt down the other day, I am reading up to avoid that problem
again. If anyone has any comments or changes, I'm all ears.

Machine: 486/66 32MB RAM 1.6G WD. 34MB swap partition, 16MB swap file.
	RedHat Linux 4.1, Perl 5.003, sendmail-8.8.4, majordomo-1.94.1
bulk mailer, caching nameserver, file-max=8192, inode-max=12288

Also running low volume apache server.

My largest list has ~450 subscribers, between 25 and 40 messages a day.
The other lists are much lower traffic.

Configuration:

	bulk_mailer -maxdomains 20

from sendmail.cf: (Items I think are relavent here)

O DeliveryMode=background
O ConnectionCacheSize=2
O ConnectionCacheTimeout=5m
O QueueLA=8
O RefuseLA=12
O MaxDaemonChildren=12
O MinQueueAge=1h
#O MaxQueueRunSize=10000 (currently commented out)
Tmajordomo

sendmail is started with:
sendmail -bd -q1h

If you see anything glaring, let me know.

-Mitch
