This matter of attachments raises several interesting questions.
First, do you want attachments? I've polled the members of lists that I
run and they are strongly opposed to them -- after all, you can also
file them so that they can retrieve them with the "get" command or by
anonymous ftp. One can filter out most of them with various entries in
taboo_bodies, so that they bounce, and you can deal with them
individually.
What I sometimes do with messages that are too important to reject out
of hand is simply delete the attachments. When the file bounces, in
addition to approving it I edit out the chaff at the bottom, perhaps
adding "Attachment deleted".
How much effort you want to put into this is of course an individual
decision, and depends on the list.
