I sent this once already, but I don't think it went through. If it did,
sorry, but I have not received any responses.
Here's the problem.
I try to subscribe to a list that I have set-up and get this response:

I look at the log and it registers the "Help" command.
Nobody has been added to the list at this point. I created a whole bunch of
lists, most worked, a few are giving me this problem.
I copied over the aliases for each one and modified then for the list, so I
don't think that's the problem.
I am running this on a sparc 1000 running (sigh) 2.3. Majordomo 1.93. (Will
update, but this should work, right?)
Any ideas? Need more info?
I have searched through the archives but haven't found anything about this
problem.
