When you set up a digest, this is a good way to test it:

 - make yourself the only subscriber to the digest
 - send an email or two to the "digestify" address
   so that they'll be something to digest
 - send the command "mkdigest listname-digest password" to
   majordomo
 - check that that the digest arrives and that it's also
   sitting in the digest's archive directory
