Piping to A*prove from Pine

I recently started using a .majordomo file to handle bounces, and have an
error I can't comprehend. I pipe a bounced message to the a*prove script,
and indeed the message goes out to the lizt with the proper headers. An
error then pops up in Pine:

stdin: is not a ttyMailed a*proved message to wacky@leben.com list.

Everything seems to work OK, except for this message. I did search the
archives (http://www.hpc.uh.edu/majordomo-users/).
