Subject: bounce loop

Problem: A person quits an email address without unsubscribing. The
person's account is closed. List messages to that account are
bounced, not to me, but to the list. This produces a loop of digests,
which stop when I manually unsubscribe the person, but a number of
cycles could occur, if I am at work for instance, before the loop is
broken.

It seems to me that this is a problem at the other end, primarily,
because the sysadmin does not have errors returned to sender but
reply-to? But I am not certain of this and wonder if there is
anything I can do on my end to prevent its reoccuring.

Thanks,
Bill Fant
