sendmail -f warning

Whenever our mailing list is accessed, sendmail gives this error

light.pomona.edu: majordom set sender to Majordomo-Owner@light.pomona.edu

Oct 17 14:13:21 light sendmail[524]: OAA00524: Authentication-Warning:
light.pomona.edu: majordom set sender to owner-insoc@light.pomona.edu
using -f

Excuse my ignorance and inexperience.  Is this a big deal?  What is wrong
and how do I fix it?
