First thanks to all for their replies re the email problem
- done as Bill said and downloaded his latest version.
I came into contact with majorcool through Altavistae and
the sites i found serve the old version. I retrieved the
new one at
httpd://ncrinfo.ncr.com/pub/contrib/unix/MajorCool/.
Majorcool is very impressive but just a few wee quickies.
All my lists have configuration files. When i go about
modifying one of these theres no problem. When i go in as a
browser and having selected all lists it presents a symbols
key - icons and list. For all but 1 of my lists i get the
round red no go icon which says not configured and
therefore cannot be subscribed to at this stage. Why does
this happen when at the same time all lists have
configuration files?
2)Theres no obvious facility to do a mkdigest like in
mailserv. Cannot edit a password file or change a password
like as in mailserv (it can be done in the config though
but if one has a suite of passwd files, will they be
checked first. Thats all for now.
