Problem: Can not subscribe to TEST list from a machine other than where
MJ is installed.
Also, when a message is sent to TEST list from where MJ is installed it
is resent to all subscribers in list TEST. But when a message is sent to
list TEST from a machine other than where MJ is installed, the message
is bounced back to the sender. See error message below.
OS: Solaris 2.6
PERL: 5.004
Mojordomo: 1.94.4
Sendmail 8.6
MJ is installed on a machine called mailman.com. Created a TEST list.
Created aliases in
/etc/mail/aliases as follows:
majordomo: "|/opt2/majordomo-1.94.4/wrapper majordomo"
owner-majordomo: majordom,
majordomo-owner: majordom
test: "|/opt2/majordomo-1.94.4/wrapper resend -l test test-list"
test-list: :include:/opt2/majordomo-1.94.4/lists/test
owner-test: myuid,
test-owner: myuid
test-request: "|/opt2/majordomo-1.94.4/wrapper majordomo -l test"
Can subscribe to list TEST from mailman.com. When try to subscribe from
machine mailwomam.com the
message got to mailman.com but could not be delivered to
majordomo@mailman.com. Error message sent to
root on machine mailman.com which reads as follows:

<test-request@mailman.com> (unrecoverable error)
----- Transcript of session follows -----
553 Mailman. config error: mail loops back to myself
554 <test-request@mailman.com>... Local configuration error
Any help to resolve this problem will be appreciated.
