landrover: {26} % ./wrapper test
wrapper: Trying to exec /usr/local/majordomo/test failed: No such file or
directory
Did you define PERL correctly in the Makefile?
HOME is HOME=/usr/local/majordomo,
PATH is PATH=/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/bin,
SHELL is SHELL=/bin/sh,
MAJORDOMO_CF is MAJORDOMO_CF=/usr/local/majordomo/majordomo.cf
GreatCircle pals,
Advance apologies for my ignorance regarding Unix, but...
How does one distinguish a directory call referenced from the users
home directory, from a call referenced from the root directory?
Example:
My MD files are in my local directory /usr/local/majordomo
which from root is actually /usr/home/landrover/usr/local/majordomo
Directory calls made by programs seem to reference from the home
directory, but Unix is reading them as if they are from root.
The ./wrapper program at the top of the page is looking for files
from root instead of from the home directory. Is something screwed
up here with Unix?
Even if the calls were from the home directory, how would you make
a call from root instead?
Thanks pals,
-Michael "Unix, Inix, Weallnix" Carradine
