Well, here is what I did to restrict post. This is all manual. Majordomo
does not yet provide an automated feature to do that.
1. Edit your $LIST.config file for each list.
2. Enter a file name in restrict-post parameter. Example below
restrict_post = test-restrict-post
3. Copy your $LIST file to test-restrict-post.
4. Perform newconfig.
You are in business. This will only allow the subscriber mailids in file
test-restrict-post to post to the list. When a new subscriber joins the
list or unsubscribes, this change will not be automatically reflected in
the test-restrict-post file. Some how you will have to keep this
test-restrict-post file updated. A possible solution can be to start a
cron job every now and then that performs the copy.
BTW the file name does not have to be 'test-restrict-post'. I called it
'test-restrict-post because by $LIST file is called 'test'.
