If you're prepared to take the hassle, you could "stop"
majordom by putting the following line first in the
majordomo config file (can't remember it's name)
exit 75;
OK, now all mail to majordomo will be queued while working.
And now you can edit the <LIST> file and add the real name.
There are two legal forms, and the first is prefered:
Real Name <address>
address (Real Name)
In no case may there be any high octets in the real name.
Then MIME encoding is needed.
After editing, make sure that the <LIST> file is owned by
the majordomo user. And don't forget to remove the
"exit 75;" line. :-) Even that file should be owned by the
majordomo user.
