A followup on the problem I'm having - in addition, when I change the config
file for my "test" list and do a "writeconfig," I get a mail telling me it
worked:
>>>> writeconfig test test.admin
wrote new config for list test.
And in the Log it says nothing is wrong:

But the config file does not in fact get changed. Permissions of the file and
directory are majordomo:daemon, 664 and 775 respectively.
Arrrgh. Any thoughts?
