Majordomo uses the digest format specified in RFC1153.  This digest format
is absolutely toxic to MIME.  The only way around it is to use MIME-format
digests (i.e. embed a multipart/digest in a multipart/mixed) but this ends
up adding a whole bunch of extra junk that people used to the old digest
format are generally not happy with.  There exists at least one quick-hack
patch to make Majordomo use the MIME format for digests.
