You wrote your message not to Majordomo support, but to a mailing
list of users.
However, it appears that the "archive2.pl" component of majordomo
is NOT 2000 complient. However, the damage, if not fixed is minimal.
(user using the index command for archives, will see some archives out
of order, since archives for listname.MM00 will preceed archives for
listname.MM99. The fix to archive is trivial (I'm surprised nobody has
done it) and just some updating of names for existing archives needs
to be done (updating the current or active archive will have to be
done with some care).
