I enter:
00 01 * * * echo mkdigest socopoet-digest socopoet-digest-hiddenalias,nobody
mypassword | mail majordomo@myserver.net
is that right? and what is it I do if it takes up more than one line? I use
the backslash? -- or is it necessary for this? is that only in config files?
also, if I do this, will I need to do anything in regards to length of the
digest when I submit my config file for the digest? it seems this would take
care of that, and I could leave that alone. what do you suggest? (my digests
are way too long and irregular and infrequent for this group and this
information.)
