thanks!  great info.  (but what's a cron file?!)

could you show me what to enter when entering this into the config file -- say
for a daily digest?  I would then not have to do anything with the length
configuration, right?   would putting it into the config file be better in any
way than putting it in the cron file?  does it matter?
