hmm... maybe a solution to this problem could be the checkcompat()
function of sendmail (if you know C and want to hack sendmail!!). It is
located in <sendmail distrib. dir>/src/conf.c.
sendmail book of OR&A (Gosh, it seems to me THE SENDMAIL HOLY BIBLE!)
has the 20th chapter dedicated to this routine with an example of how to
limit the size of messages. (BTW: sendmail developper gurus, why do not
insert this option in the sendmail.cf?).
