I am complete new to majordomo, unix and all the rest. I've downloaded
all kins of FAQs and readme files and with the help of my colleages, I
think I can figure this stuff out.

However, my installation instructions throw me for a loop on the very
first sentence:

"Untar the majordomo tar file located in etc etc."

What does it mean to untar? Having no background in UNIX it is foolish of
me to consider attempting this in the first place? Sigh.

Any advice would be most appreciated.

Thanks, Connie
