I believe that the crappy little software that coollist runs is majordomo,
or a cloaked version of majordomo anyway.  I may be wrong on that.

And the problem with your duplication of messages is because this
particular list is set to reply-to sender rather than list.  Which, IMHO,
is bad.  So all those duplicates you are getting is because people are
replying to all.  This particular message I am sending now, I chose to hit
reply, which popped up TO your address only, then changed it to the list
address.  There was another reply on the list today that was sent to you
AND the list.  Overkill, if you ask me.

I'd recommend you set your list to reply-to = list and be done with it.
That way the list will get every reply and you get only one copy UNLESS the
user has a crappy email program that always replies to ALL, or chooses to
do so.

After all, these are discussion lists, why have reply to sender only if you
want discussion?  Never understood that.
