You are right; I do have a system problem. I tried to compile Glimpse 4.1
after your message; it pointed out syntax errors in /usr/include/sys/stat.h
and failed:-( Glimpse 3.0; however, did compile, but it failed in
execution:-((
My system is BSDI BSD/OS 2.1 Kernel #0; I plan to upgrade to 3.1 very
soon.
