Why this bounce

I'm trying to send to my own list just set up (yes I have 
subscribed).  It's taking the list-request commands fine, but not the 
messages to the list.  Have been looking through config, but no 
obvious probs (to me) - Majordomo 1.94.4 and yes my sign-up and 
sending address are same.

Subject line looks funny - below

Subject: BOUNCE yachtbiz@mailinglist.net:     Admin request 
of type /\bsubscribe\b/i at line 9
