X-headers

I'm researching the effect of mailing list engines on headers, specifically experimental
(X-) headers.  I have read the documentation but didn't find an answer specifically
relating to the issue at hand.   My  question is "does majordomo process and pass
on all X- headers"?  If it does, is there a default setting?
