Maybe I can suggest another way of looking at the problem. Majordomo will be
maintaining my list, and you can think of the emails I will be sending as
"spam"-like. Don't get the wrong impression, though. The people on my list
will be there voluntarily. I don't want anyone to be able to spam my list
subscribers. Can I pipe an email through sendmail or bulk_mail without setting
up an alias? I just don't want anyone trying to hack my outgoing alias. Forget
about hiding the outbound alias, I want to eliminate it completely, thus
insuring an extremely secure list. I thought about setting up a script to
temporarily add an outbound alias, send the email to the list and then remove
the alias. Though that would work, it's more of a kludge. I put my problem in
the hands of your genius. Please forgive my presumption if this isn't truely a
majordomo problem. I came to this as I was trying to get majordomo to do it for
me, but the whole hiding the outgoing alias bit was and is uncomfortable to me.
