Hallo all,
I have installed majordomo 1.94.4 in a linux slackware.And I have some
problems creating lists.
First of all ,I have to say that I just need to make lists to see how
majordomo works(for my studies) not for the public.I am working on my pc at
home wich has no real ip address.
So in the majordomo.cf I have put in $whereami=MiPC.tristar.com(that is the
name that there is in file called hostname).Can i do this, I mean can i use
this ip if I am just crating lists for myself?
Another thing is that in $whoami I wrote majordom@$whereami instead
majordomo (with o) cause when I created majorodomo i created an user and a
group called majordom (8 caracters) so majordomo has no account. andthen I
write the messages to majordom@localhost. Can i do this? And if not ,how can
I create an account to majordomo?
Before I created a list I made a file aliases in /etc/ as its explained in
the manual:
owner-owner: ...
