The first thing I'd recommend is to break the forwarding loop - assuming
you've access to the aliases file, comment out the majordomo alias and
insert an alias for majordomo that points to a real mailbox (yours?).
Then have a look at what mail arrives, see where it's coming from, etc. If
you don't see from this what the problem is, then post one of the messages
you're getting here and we'll try to work something out.
Note - the above assumes sendmail - if you're running some other MTA,
substitute the correct aliasing procedure.

Subject: looping processes
Hello, I need some help. I am running Majordomo 1.93 on AIX 4.1.4. It
appears that Majordomo is in an infinite loop of sending itself mail.
Every one or two seconds mail is processed from Majordomo to Majordomo.
The contents of the message is:
--
>>>> --
END OF COMMANDS
I did not configure majordomo, but I am now responsible for it. This
problem is eating up CPU and I am not sure what I should do. I know
that I need to upgrade to the most recent version (this version is
still running Perl 4), but that is not feasible at this time. Could
someone please give me a hand with this.
Thank you.
