I think what you want is the message_footer or message_fronter
entries in the list configuration file. For example:
message_footer << END

+ This is the Cladogram mailing list. To unsubscribe send e-mail to: +
+ majordomo@foo.bar +
+ with the one line message: +
+ unsubscribe cladogram +

would put this boxed message at the end of every message distributed by
the list.
