Simplifying email addresses

When I ran Majordomo on a NeXT, the same server was the mail
server & majordomo server, and it kept my address as
just 'awest' on the list.  However, it didn't do that for
the other folks here who were using their PC's mail client;
I was using mail directly on the NeXT (emacs' rmail).

You could go in and manually truncate all the addresses and
see if it still works.
