This doesn't require hacking majordomo, it doesn't care what the addresses
are (with the exception of x.400).  If your MTA passes non-fully qualified
addreseses majordomo will work fine (it does this for users on the same
box as my majordomo server if they send out non-fully qualified
addresses).

Your MTA is likely qualifying all addresses, or the users have the full
return address in their return address field.
