Hello MJ Users,
Having a problem with a list of mine. It's on a server owned by
esosoft.com and the particular server is majordomo@majordomo.net
I only rent the server space and don't have root access or anything
like that. About 2 days ago, a very unusual problem arose.
When someone posts to the kitcar list, two messages appear.
One gets posted to the list. The duplicate message gets trashed,
the servers name gets put into the to: as in majordomo@majordomo.net
The message gets bounced over to me as a nonmember submission
with text that says *command* not recognized.
I was told that it appeared that someone was posting messages
to majordomo@majordomo.net Did not believe it at the time
and still don't. The problem is ongoing,Much to my dismay.
Afraid that I don't have the technical expertise to deal with
this problem.
To me, it appears that a file has been corrupted within
the server and is responsible for these messages.
Any suggestions from the listmembers?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Sam sbrooks@earthlink.net
Am enclosing copies of both posts, cut 'n pasted, to show
