Hi all
Despite the fact that I have "0 MeToo=false" ( also tried just commenting
MeToo out) in my sendmail.cf file, majordomo persists in delivering
copies of mail to the sender in my majordomo lists.
My users don't want to receive copies of their own mail and the "metoo"
option works as expected with simple "include" sendmail lists - ie they
don't get copies.
I am intrigued that the archives are full of people trying to get
majordomo/sendmail to *send* copies to the sender, instead of as I am
trying to get it to *stop* sending copies!
What am I doing wrong?
I have tried putting this into the majordomo.cf file to no avail:
$mailer = "$sendmail_command -Ometoo=f -oi -oee -f\$sender";
Here is the alias entry for a simple list - have I got something wrong??
# blobtest - simple list, no digest or archiving
blobtest: "|/usr/local/share/majordomo/wrapper resend -l blobtest
blobtest-list"
blobtest-list: :include:/usr/local/share/majordomo/lists/blobtest
owner-blobtest:morna
blobtest-owner:morna
blobtest-request:"|/usr/local/share/majordomo/wrapper majordomo -l blobtest"
blobtest-approval:morna
As has been mentioned on the list previously, sending mail to "blobtest-list"
(blobtest-list: :include:/usr/local/share/majordomo/lists/blobtest)
works fine - ie I don't get a copy of my own mail.
How are you all getting the list proper not to send you copies!!
