Could some help me Please?
I am trying to set up Majordomo on a HP E35 running HPUX 10.2, sendmail
version 8.8.6 that I got from HP and majordomo version 1.94.4 and I have two
questions (for now :)
Using the NEWLIST document from the Majordomo 1.94.4 release, I created an
aliases
file that is like the one under the section for digestification, archiving,
and header manipulation. I changed pathnames and list names to match my
configuration.
My test list is called "misnews"
Question
1.) Is it correct to get only one file called "misnews.9804" under the following
directory "/majordomo/majordomo-1.94.4-bin/lists/misnews.archive" that
containes all of the files sent to this list? If so what is the purpose of
the command "index misnews" send to my Majordomo?
2.) What does digest do? Using the following aliases file for misnews, I
get no entries in the "/majordomo/majordomo-1.94.4-bin/digest/misnews"
directory. I think I set it up correctly?? No errors appear.
