Hi,
yes, I got it working after some playing about. You need to put the two files
into a directory like /usr/local/bin, and make sure they are executable.
You then put an alias into your /etc/aliases file (If you are using sendmail)
like this
mail2news: "|/usr/local/bin/drobot -dir /var/spool/mailnews -groups
aus.ads.commercial"
Naturally you need the directory /var/spool/mailnews with appropriate perms.
Its only a spool directory.
As far as I can figure, it only allows one newsgroup per alias. Not bad though,
otherwise you get crossposting I guess. NOta good thing sometimes.
Anyway, put in your alias. do a "newaliases", then send your article to
To: mail2news
Or whatever your called your alias.
