noadvertise set but list still appears

Hi,

I am having a problem with a couple of lists at my site.
They are both set up with an empty "advertise" array and
noadvertise as

    noadvertise << END
    /.*/
    END

but a "lists" command to majordomo still includes these
lists in its output.  Some other lists set up in the same
way do *not* show up from "lists".

I've tried writeconfig and newconfig without errors but
these lists still appear.

Can anyone help?
(Solaris 2.5.1, Majordomo 1.94.4, perl 5.00404)
