One of my customers who runs a moderated list complained to me the other
day that some "wiseguy" sent an email to her list addressed to:
'listname-outgoing'
Apparently, this circumvented the moderation process, and the "wiseguy"
managed to spam the list. Is this a configuration issue, or do I need to
take extraordinary measures to prevent this from happening again?
The aliases for the list are set up like so:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
owner-ejrc: ejrc-owner
ejrc: "|/usr/local/majordomo-1.93/wrapper resend -R -l ejrc -f ejrc-owner
-h vet
ejrc-owner: carry
ejrc-approval: ejrc-owner
ejrc-outgoing: :include:/usr/local/mail/lists/ejrc
owner-ejrc-outgoing: ejrc-owner
ejrc-request: "/usr/local/majordomo-1.93/wrapper request-answer ejrc"
owner-ejrc-request: ejrc-owner
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
TIA for any and all suggestions...
