Ah, that is not a very good statement/explanation.
The problem is that JavaScript is (most often) used on the client side
(browser), and your majordomo is something that doesn't leave the server.
You could maybe send e-mail to majordomo from JavaScript but JS would be the
wrong tool to do that with.
Java applets create a similar situation (they run inside your browser). YOu
could use them to send email, but again, wrong tool. You could use Servlets
to access majordomo, but this would be an overkill.
