Subject: Permissions issue on new install

Greetings MD-Gurus!

I've installed Majordomo 1.94.4 on a Solaris 2.5 box running sendmail
8.9.0. I've also installed the 'sample' aliases in my aliases file. It
appears that all is ok until I try to do something useful like send a
message to the list.

After much investigation and hairpulling I finally found lurking in
/var/tmp the following files

majordomo.debug and resend.debug

What I'm seeing in these files follows:

majordomo.debug
socket: Permission denied
socket: Permission denied

resend.debug
socket: Permission denied
socket: Permission denied
mj_resend: ABORT
Mailer /usr/lib/sendmail -oi -oee -fowner-test@em.toto.net test-outgoing
exited
unexpectedly with error 72

I've gotten that this is a permissions issue (quick aren't I!), but whose
permission and where?

Any and all ideas are appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Bill Dotson
